But building out the stack to optimize sales enablement, marketing automation, and web e-commerce, is as much art as it is science. IT and procurement may help with major contracts. They are not waiting for permission to optimize their tech stack. One thing is clear, after fifteen years of SaaS applications, business managers are smart and savvy. It is very clear that, in many enterprises, business unit general managers are pushing their teams to leverage technology more than in the past.
